The Story of Beautiful Scars

Beautiful Scars was born as a full-album concept during our European tour, inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi — the philosophy that we become more beautiful because we were broken. What began as an artistic vision soon became a lived experience, as Limberlost found itself shattered and rebuilt, transformed by the very message we set out to create.

The journey begins with "Alien," a song capturing the weight of dysphoria and disconnection. "Playing Games" unleashes the aggression we all battle inside. From there, "Buried," "Alone," "Let Me Go," and "The Me I Am Afraid Of" explore the internal war of self-discovery — the raw, unfiltered struggle of facing who you truly are.

Then comes "Man on the Run"—the turning point. Inspired by our true chance encounter with the whistleblower for the Ruja Ignatova case, this song is the moment of reckoning, the decision to rise, to take on destiny despite the odds, despite the pain.

The final chapter unfolds in "Velvet & Venom," "Blood & Bone," and "Beautiful Scars" — where battle lines fade, and self-acceptance emerges, unshaken and unapologetic.

What started as a concept became something real, raw, and inescapable. Beautiful Scars isn’t just an album — it’s proof that the broken can be remade, stronger and more beautiful than before.
